Cubietech Limited was founded in 2012 by an embedded technology team which is full of dream and passions. Based on electronic industry advantage of China's pearl river delta, highly open-source culture and open-end internationalized vision, we supply high-performance and affordable software and hardware platform to the creative people all of the world.
Cubietech started to operate the first product line, the Cubieboard series open-source single-board microcomputer in August 2012. Since team’s hard working and good growth opportunities, Cubieboard got highly praises from lots of open -source organizations, and became the standard equipments primary supported by many open-source operating systems. After two years time, Cubieboard gradually grows to be a famous open-source hardware which has great influence and is loved by many geeks and hobbyists. Depended on rich features and low costs, one of them which named Cubietruck was sorted as the fourth open-source mini single-board computer by authoritative open-source organizations.
Cubietech will continually embrace open-source culture, bring more cost-effective mini computer to the majority of hobbyists. Meanwhile, in order to grasp pulse of the times and meet the market demand, we will also develop and promote some other professional embedded printed circuit board assemblies, modules and chipsets which can be used in other special application fields. And more, we also would like to cooperate with other dream teams and to develop/promote more innovative solutions and products.
